The High Court gave the decision in favour of armed forces and authority of MC was transferred to Commander Lahore Corps. in the 1990s. LCCHS was renamed as Defence Housing Authority (DHA) legally and officially via provincial ordinance and federal order. DHA Phases 1 to 5 are fully developed, Phase 6 is partially developed and the construction work is at its pace. Whereas, Phases 7, 8, 9 and 11 are at initial stages of development.
